OK so this is bascially just a big link dump of links ive found. Idk

So this is kinda a bit of a memorial post, but i do wanna say it. malune's lunebox just shut down, as he said "everyone, i’m going to shut down the lunebox project. i would have to renew my vps, but i’m not going to do that. thank you to everyone who used the project!" so ima link the og link and archive.org link too. It was a small Status.cafe alternative and I had joined a ltitle bit before it closed. it had a lot of portuguese speakers (brasileiros i assume) on it so ya. here are links, images, and archives

OG About Page Contents:

What can LuneBox do for me?

We help you share your moments and feelings, making it easy to integrate with your corner of the internet.Where did the idea for LuneBox come from?

The idea for LuneBox came from my need to have a place to store moments and feelings, with a simple and intuitive interface that would allow me to access and update my status without having to touch the site's code.

So why not share it with you too? I realized that all the alternatives we had were from abroad, so I saw an opportunity to strengthen and bring our community closer.

How much do I have to pay for LuneBox?

NOTHING! LuneBox is 100% free, and always will be, free. Will LuneBox continue to evolve?

Yes, I plan to add more features over time, among them the one I want most is a forum or community for users to interact. :)

Our commitment

LuneBox respects your space, your data and your time. No ads, no algorithms, no turning your moments into product.

Brasiliero indieweb community! (yk I feel like i should write this in portuguese lol) so it was made by this cool dude Dorival (who has his own website on neocities) and its mostly just a forum but also has a main portal page with a Xat chat and some other cool stuff. Im part of it but havent been active for a few months but hopefully i will be active again (probably will be). Its super cool and chill

dorival
Small little internet community! I think it has a webring and it looks chill, also has some gemini portal thingy which is cool hehe
So this is a small internet community type site i found. Im not really sure if theyre going for a link directory or a Marigold town type neighborhood of websites but I like it! reminds me of melonland's vibes (which I believe was intentionl). There is also a little forum there which is cool
This is kinda a status.cafe clone but its made by Malune cuz she quote "realized that all the alternatives we had were from abroad, so I saw an opportunity to strengthen and bring our community closer." and i think thats actually really cool! I kinda have considered joining it before but i kinda feel like its not really my place to but idk i might in the future, i suppose it doesnt say anywhere i cant
This is a fun little frutiger aero type site. we are actually nieghbors but i just am commenting on the site. its a cool site but im not entirely sure what they are going for, like i cant tell if its supposed to be a personal site or a community site or some kind of media archive but idk i like it either way. I think itd be cool to make it a community focused site since it seems to be leaning in that direction
Ok this might be one of the most helpful color resoiruces ive found. its like a color wheel and color pallete maker all in one AND the styling is sick as hell. HIGHLY recomend it
So this is yet another oldaf forum service. I literally found this while browsing gifcities and it was an ad graphic for it and i went to the link and it litrerally still exists and it actually seems like it still works like you CAN make a forum with it (unlike things like boardhost RIP) SO YA
Ok why does nobody talk about this like at all? Like dude, bravenet was bascially the king of the old internet, AND ITS STILL ALIVE AND IN SERVICE. I have seen NOBODY talk about this online, and its suprising cuz you'd think someone would have at least mentioned it!

Tho a funny thing about modern bravenet is how they still offer services like guestbooks but they are like, modern styled. Like for some reason, bravenet has no capitalized on the indieweb and getting people to use their services and its funny cuz what modern serious professional non indieweb site these days would use a guestbook?

Anyways tho idk if ima use their services but i might in the future its something im keeping on my radar
